Contracts & Commitment

Is there really no long-term contract?

Correct. Every Seller Sage retainer is month-to-month. You can cancel with 30 days’ notice, no termination fees. We believe agencies should earn every renewal on performance, not contract lock-in.

What’s the Strategy Lead accountability guarantee?

Your named US Strategy Lead commits to staying 24+ months. If they leave Seller Sage or are replaced (for any reason except your own request) in that window, we automatically refund 3 months of your retainer fees. The Brand Manager pod handling execution under your Strategy Lead is capped at 4 brands per BM but the named-and-stays guarantee attaches to the Strategy Lead role.

How quickly can we start?

Onboarding begins within 7 days of your signed agreement. The first 30 days focus on account audit, campaign architecture, and baseline reporting. Optimization begins in week 2.

How We Work

Do you offshore any work?

Seller Sage runs a two-tier team. Your named US Strategy Lead is in your contract, capped at ≤7 brands, and owns the relationship, weekly calls, and every strategic decision. The Brand Manager pod handling day-to-day execution under your Strategy Lead is global and capped at 4 brands per BM. The thing we built Seller Sage to avoid is the bad version of offshoring: anonymous teams, cookie-cutter execution, rotating faces, ticketing systems. The named US Strategy Lead in your contract is the answer to that, regardless of where the pod sits.

Why TACoS and margin instead of ACoS or ROAS?

ACoS only tells you the efficiency of your ad spend. ROAS only tells you revenue return. Neither one tells you if your Amazon business is profitable. TACoS (ad spend as % of total revenue) plus contribution margin tells the truth, are you growing the business or just the ad bill?

What does a typical week look like?

Monday: ad spend delta review and anomaly catching. Wednesday: listing and keyword refresh, we optimize one priority ASIN per week. Friday: your weekly report, TACoS, margin, top movers, next-week plan. All in Slack or email, no dashboard logins required.

Do I have access to my own data?

Yes, always. We work inside your Seller Central account with granular user permissions. There’s no proprietary dashboard you lose access to when you leave. Your account, your data, your control.

Fit & Results

What if I’m below $500K on Amazon?

Honestly? A full-service agency retainer probably isn’t the right move yet. At that stage, a focused freelancer or DIY with a good PPC tool is usually the better economic choice. We’re happy to point you to resources or talk when you cross the $500K threshold.

How soon can I expect to see results?

Meaningful structural wins in 30–60 days, campaign restructure, listing optimization, FBA reimbursements recovered. Margin and TACoS improvements typically show compounding results in months 3–6. Anyone promising transformation in 30 days is selling you a story.

I just left a bad agency. What’s the process like?

Start with our free audit. We’ll review your current PPC structure and listings, identify exactly what the previous agency did well and poorly, and give you a clear 90-day recovery plan. No obligation to work with us after, some founders take the audit and run it themselves. That’s fine.

What’s NOT included in the retainer?

Your ad spend budget (that goes to Amazon directly). International marketplace expansion is included at the Scale tier but a la carte on Starter/Growth. Product photography, video production, and influencer partnerships are separate. Anything beyond that is either included, or we’ll tell you before the invoice.

Security & Compliance

Are you an Amazon SPN (Service Provider Network) listed agency?

Our application for Amazon SPN listing is in progress. Listing status is maintained on the About page. Unrelated to SPN status, our team holds Amazon Ads Advanced Certification and operates by the access and data-handling standards listed on our Security page.

How do you access my Seller Central account?

You invite each Seller Sage team member as a named user through Amazon’s native User Permissions in Seller Central, assigning only the specific roles they need. We never ask for your login or 2FA codes. When someone leaves our team, you revoke their access directly, there’s no master credential we retain. Full detail on our Security page.

What are your data security practices?

Principle of least privilege on all Seller Central access. MFA required on every team account, email, password managers, and every tool we use to access your data. No credential sharing. Client performance data is kept in access-controlled systems and never used outside your engagement. See the Security page and Privacy Policy for full detail.

Which marketplaces do you support?

Amazon US is our primary marketplace. We support international expansion to Amazon UK, DE, and CA on the Scale plan. TikTok Shop and Walmart Marketplace are available as add-ons. Other Amazon marketplaces (JP, AU, etc.) are possible, just ask.
